From the Ocean to the Mountains, from North to South is an illustrated booklet created for Pronatura Noroeste A.C., celebrating the organization’s 2016 Ecological Merit Award. The ocean

The journey begins at sunrise over the sea, where species like the Gray Whale, Whale Shark, turtles, octopus, Elegant Tern, and pelicans populate the vibrant coastal landscape. This opening scene emphasizes the richness and vitality of our oceans.

Jungle and Forest

As the day progresses, the illustrations transition into the lowland jungles and tropical forests of the Sierra Madre Occidental. Here, readers encounter creatures such as the Black Bear, Jaguar, Green Macaw, Thick-billed Parrot, Ocelot, and Mexican Wolf, highlighting the incredible biodiversity of these ecosystems.
