Imagine walking along the shores of Bahía de La Paz or diving into the vibrant waters of Cabo Pulmo, where colorful marine life thrives and iconic species roam freely. This is the world that Parallelo 28 invites us to protect through their “Se buscan héroes” (“In Search of Heroes”) campaign—a call for everyone, from tourists to fishermen, to become heroes for marine biodiversity in northwestern Mexico.
For this initiative, I created visual materials that bring these natural treasures to life. Posters featuring the silhouettes of emblematic species and breathtaking landscapes were designed to inspire visitors to participate in conservation and surveillance efforts. A promotional video for Bahía de La Paz captures the beauty and importance of the area, while a series of animated social media clips extend the campaign’s reach, making the message playful, engaging, and memorable.
Every design element was intended to spark curiosity, wonder, and action, inviting people to see themselves as part of the story—heroes who can make a difference in preserving these incredible ecosystems. Through artful storytelling and visual impact, the campaign transforms awareness into participation, turning every visitor into a guardian of Mexico’s marine biodiversity.
